landscape axes
Casa Entre Eixos was born from the idea that structure can be more than support: it can be language, rhythm and experience. The project is organized around a grid of exposed concrete pillars and beams that establish the cadence of the space, both in terms of construction and everyday living.
This structural order defines intervals - the "between axes" - which are not just measurements, but fields of possibility. Between them, different closing solutions create different atmospheres: movable panels that modulate the incidence of light, glazed openings that connect the interior to the surroundings, and opaque surfaces that offer seclusion. Living takes place in an alternation between openness and seclusion, transparency and intimacy.
Set on a raised base, the house preserves the natural terrain and fits into the landscape in a light way. The structure reveals not only constructive rationality, but also the delicacy of the relationship with nature, allowing the architecture to transform throughout the day, with the movement of the sun and the use of the spaces.
